Professional underwater photographers and cinematographers, Ed Cardwell and Hayley Versace have been based on the Ningaloo Reef exploring the waters off Coral Bay and Exmouth for more than 5 years, discovering the extensive lagoons and outer reef systems of Ningaloo and the Coral Coast. Frequently visited by some of the largest and rarest marine life our oceans holds, this unique part of Western Australia offers incredible filming and photography opportunities for a huge variety of sharks including seasonal visits from whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) from March to July and abundant numbers of rays such as a stingrays and manta rays (Manta alfredi and Manta birostris) all year round.

Also, as a marine mammal hotspot with seasonal visits from Minke Whales (Balaenoptera bonaerensis) and dugong (Dugong dugon), Western Australia boasts the largest Humpback Whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) migration in the world and Ningaloo is recognised as a key breading and mating area for these incredible animals. Various species of dolphins can also be seen on a daily basis including the rare Australian Humpback Dolphin (Sousa chinensis).

Ningaloo is also a key nesting ground for many of the Indian Ocean’s marine sea turtle species such as Green (Chelonia mydas), Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricate) and Loggerhead Turtle’s (Caretta caretta) not to mention the stunningly beautiful, colourful and abundant coral reefs stretching across 300kms of remote Western Australia coastline hosting over 250 species of hard corals and 500 fish species. It is truely an incredible marine environment with solid ocean swells creating world class surfing waves and unexpected surprises from marine life on a daily basis.

Gathering stock video footage and photographs all year round basis, we are able to capture rare amd unseen footage on a daily basis. We also offer our services throughout Australia and internationally servicing the Mid-West, Gascoyne, Coral Coast and Pilbara Areas of North-West Australia including Perth, Geraldton, Kalbarri, Shark Bay, Carnarvon, Coral Bay, Exmouth, Karratha, Port Hedland and Broome.
